    FT: Leeds 2-0 Hull

    Ian Ashbee
Former Hull City midfielder on BBC Radio Humberside

It's a difficult place to come for anybody. Leeds are going to be up there.

Hull have shown some snippets in there, we are going to have to give them time to find the starting XI. The lads have got to find out what this league is all about, which they will do.

They have been beaten by the better side. Leeds created more chances.

Oxford United 3-1 Preston North End

Oxford United take all three points in their second league win of the season.

A classy strike by Tyler Goodrham to give them the lead before defender Greg Leigh make it three.

Mark Harris continues to impress with his fourth of the season.

    West Brom 1-0 Swansea

    All over at The Hawthorns.

A solid performance for the home side, who struggled to break down the Swansea defence.

But Jayson Molumby's goal in first-half added time was enough to secure all three points for the Baggies and lift them up to second in the table.

    Plymouth 0-1 Stoke

Steven Schumacher's return to Home Park is a successful one.

His Stoke side left it late but Million Manhoef's goal - his third in two games - gives the Potters the win against Plymouth.

Wayne Rooney's hunt for a first league win in charge of Argyle continues.

    Portsmouth 1-3 Sunderland

    Sunderland take all three points.

The Black Cats were a class above the newly promoted Portsmouth this afternoon.

A late consolation for Pompey but not enough to defeat the Championship league leaders.

    Millwall 3-0 Sheff Wed

Millwall claim their first Championship win of the season.

Josh Coburn gave the Lions the lead on his debut, before Duncan Watmore doubled the advantage.

Captain Jake Cooper's header right at the end added gloss to the scoreline for the home side.

The Owls have now lost three league matches in a row without scoring since they beat Plymouth 4-0 on the opening day of the season.

    16:52 BST 31 August

    West Brom 1-0 Swansea

The Baggies fans won't believe this is still only 1-0, their side have had 17 shots and five on target, yet Swansea still remain in this game.

Uros Racic is on for his debut for the home side and has had two big chances, volleying wide when he looked likely to score and forcing a superb save from Swans keeper Lawrence Vigouroux.

Into six minutes of added time.

Well, well, well .... How about this.

Reading (13th) lead Charlton (2nd) 2-0 with just under ten minutes of normal time remaining. Goals from Charlie Savage and Sam Smith have the embattled Royals primed for a big upset.

Speaking of upsets, we could get a double dose, if Mansfield (16th) can hold off league leaders Stockport, it remains 1-1.

Wrexham (4th) maintain their 2--0 lead over Peterborough (7th) who haven't been able to find a way back into this game in the second half.

Wigan (19th) have equalised to draw level with Birmingham (5th), 1-1.

Crawley (8th) already have the showers running at Broadfield Stadium. It's hard to seem them coming back from 3-0 down against the visitors, Barnsley (9th).

  13. EFL: Championship leaders Sunderland win again; Leeds, Derby, West Brom & Millwall among winners (4)

GOAL: Millwall 3-0 Sheff Wedpublished at 16:45 British Summer Time 31 August

The captain wraps it up for Millwall.

George Saville plays in Casper De Norre down the right, who's brilliant ball is headed goalwards by Jake Cooper.

The referee checks his watch and confirms it goes over the line to make it 3-0 to the Lions.

    Million Manhoef (83 mins)

    A late winner for Stoke?

Million Manhoef scored twice in Stoke's 5-0 thumping of Middlesbrough in midweek.

And he's off the mark today, courtesy of Sol Sidibe's delivery as he strikes into the bottom corner.

Wayne Rooney's winless start in the Championship as Plymouth manager looks set to continue.

    Game over, surely.

Joel Piroe find the net following some good build-up play from the hosts.

He drives right footed into the bottom corner of the Hull net after Junior Firpo teed him up.

    Leeds 1-0 Hull

Just a goal in it and surely this game is finely poised?

Well Hull have just had three corners in quick succession and haven't hit the target.

Meanwhile at the other end, Joel Piroe's strike from outside the box goes just wide.

  17. 'Hull don't need to take risks'published at 16:36 British Summer Time 31 August

    Leeds 1-0 Hull

    Ian Ashbee
Former Hull City midfielder on BBC Radio Humberside

Hull City can get this back. They've had chances. There's goals on the bench, goals on the pitch. They don't need to go all-in at the moment.

They are putting themselves under pressure playing out from the back. I understand they have to take certain risks but they don't need to do it in the six-yard box.

  18. Postpublished at 16:35 British Summer Time 31 August

    Millwall 2-0 Sheff Wed

Josh Coburn's debut is over as the goal scorer is replaced by fellow new recruit Macaulay Langstaff, who came to Millwall with a phenomenal scoring record for Notts County but is yet to get off the mark for the London club.

  19. Postpublished at 16:33 British Summer Time 31 August

    16:33 BST 31 August

    West Brom 1-0 Swansea

The home side have made a change and replaced goal scorer Jayson Molumby with Uros Racic.

And the Serbia international almost makes a instant impact as he volleys wide of Lawrence Vigouroux's goal.

Davide: It is really, really hard to believe for me that this Sunderland team is largely the same team that we had last season, minus its best player. It is so good to watch them play now.

It's been a fine start to Regis Le Bris's reign at the Stadium of Light.
